My Own Metamorphosis

In drama I created my own character. It was called Cindy. I wrote a monologue to give her voice. This is me playing the role.

Monologue:

Would you like to know my story?
 Well, now I’m a fairy, but before this I was a normal person, as everybody. But I had very shocking story. My father was alcoholic and he hurt me and my mother every day of my life since I have memory. On the other hand my mother didn’t care about me; she wanted me to do the house keeping instead of going to school. It was difficult to live in a house where your parents don’t care about you. Every night before sleeping I prayed to god asking for peace and a change. Yes a change in my since life I didn’t want to suffer anymore.  I don’t know in which moment this happened and I don’t how to thank god but luckily, I turned into a fairy. Oh god this is amazing. This change has good and bad things. Some advantages are that my father can’t hurt me anymore, I started to have a little dialogue with my parents and the most important one that I really love is that I can help everybody I want with similar problems to mines, such as Percy the baker´s son who was hit by him, but now he changed his life because of me and now he lives with her aunt and cousins. I’m very proud, happy I pleased because he could change his life and because he followed my advice on. And well, not everything is perfect so it is difficult to control my body and some people get scared of me or think I’m not real and tried to kill me, but then I tell them who I am and they calm down. However I think my life it’s better know, my parents are starting to appreciate me and most importantly I help people, the thing that makes me happier than ever and the thing I will never stop doing In my life. I hope my story has left you a massage. So love your family and make every human being respect you because you have the right to be respected and not be mistreated.
