For my sort of granny baby sitting
She is my aunt, but worked as a granny
Old since I was born
But strong like a rock
Taking care of me
Since a baby I was
Singing funny songs
To make my dreams work
Helping with my homework
Either spring or autumn
As an angel, she taught me to live
Elsa, example of effort
Still dedicates her life to me
Despite she is tired now.

Great work. Your poem is original from it´s very title. The idea of the "sort-of-granny" is something many of us have experienced and can relate to.
ResponderEliminarThe poem is well built, it rhymes beautifully. If I may make a very personal comment, I would end it one line before. Since the rhyme between live and me creates a beautiful effect that would be a great ending.
